I now have my official time from yesterday's 8K. I completed the 8K in 44:24. I set a PR for the 5K distance with a 5K time of 26:54. Wow!!!!!
Note to self: When planning on spending time outside, especially when a beer tent is involved, remember the sun screen. I'm sporting a mean farmer's tan today. The arm that had my iPod band on it has an especially attractive little pattern burned into it from the sun. That's fab.
Coffee doesn't seem to be doing enough for me today. I've already called someone the wrong name in an e-mail. Yep, it's Monday.
